Hope's 4th Birthday!

Oh my! I can't believe my baby is four. Where does the time go? She is growing up way too fast. She had such a fun birthday last Tuesday. She had school that day so she took Krispy Kreme doughnuts to share with her class. That evening she wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. (What is it with my kids and Texas Roadhouse?) Grandma and Grandpa Huntsman came, as well as the Bawdens and the Stonebrakers. After, we went back to our house for cake and ice cream and games. She had an Ariel cake since that is her favorite princess. The kids played "Don't eat Santa" and "Pin the present on Santa". (Thanks, Sis!) I hope it was a good day for her. We love you Hope!

Aime Christmas Party

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we had the annual Aime Christmas party. It is when Mary's side of the family (Chad's Mom) gets together. This year we had such a great time. I have to give a shout out to Aunt Kelly because she worked so hard to make it fun for everyone. We had lots of games, a pinata, and a nativity with all the little ones. Hallee was the narrator and sang a solo of a Christmas song. Hope was Mary and she looked so cute! She was all business, though. And, did I mention Santa showed up?

Thanksgiving

This year we spent Thanksgiving with the Huntsmans. We had such a good day. We ate way too much yummy food (of course). I think we all put on the "Thanksgiving 5". But we need our energy to shop the next day, right? The kids played pin the hat on the turkey and Thanksgiving bingo. At the end of the night we put together a gingerbread house. It was probably more mess than it was worth but I think the kids had fun.

Thanksgiving at School

The girlies both had a great time at their "Thanksgiving feasts" at school. Hallee painted her vest and Hope made a teepee out of an ice cream cone. Their schools do such cute things with them.

Disney on Ice

Last weekend, Grandma and Grandpa Huntsman took the family to Disney on Ice. The girls always love going to this (and so do I). Hope's favorite part was seeing Ariel. Hallee said her favorite part was Small World. We had such a fun time together.

Grandpa and Grandma Huntsman's Halloween Party

On Monday, Grandpa and Grandma Huntsman had their 2nd annual Halloween party. We all come dressed up and are judged on our costumes. Grandma makes homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner. The kids have a blast decorating cookies and pumpkins, making scarecrows, and pinning the nose on the witch. Grandma and Grandpa go to a lot of trouble to make the party really fun. This year, Chad and I went as a dalmation and Cruella DeVille. We won best dressed! (Thanks for letting us borrow the costumes Char!)

Oh yes...It's 80's night

Okay, how good do we look? We had a murder mystery dinner at the Stonebrakers last night. Seriously, did we look this bad in the 80's? Too bad the pics don't show my red and black pumps and Chad's pegged pants. You can see my crimped hair, though. It was a blast. The theme was the 1985 class reunion for Murder High. I was Cindy Crawfish, the class flirt, and Chad was Judd Jensen, the class hunk. We had to act out our roles so I had to flirt with all the guys in my "class". The murderer ended up being Amanda who was the class drama queen. Serious good times. The only setback was that Chad decided to shave "steps" in the sides of his hair. So, at the end of the night he had to shave his head to get rid of them. Of course he won't shave the beard until October is over (some rule for crazy hunters), so today at church he had a shaved head and a bushy beard. Lookin good, Chaddy.

The Pumpkin Patch

Hope and I went with Hallee on her fieldtrip to a pumpkin patch on Friday. The girls had a lot of fun picking their pumpkins and going through the corn maze. Hope thought the corn she found was pretty cool, too.

Baby Maya

Katie (my sister) had her baby two weeks ago tomorrow. She is so sweet! I couldn't be there right after she was born because she had her in Fillmore. I had to wait three whole days to finally get my hands on her. She is the cutest little thing. The girls and I got to spend several days in Scipio over UEA so we got to see her quite a bit. The cutest thing is that she sleeps with her tongue out of her mouth. Congrats Katie and Jake!

The Girlies Get Their Ears Pierced

Every year during the deer hunt, the women have their own fun while the men are hunting. Saturday, Mary, Amanda and I were out to lunch with the girls. Amanda had the idea of having Grandma take the girls to get their ears pierced. I didn't think they would because Hallee has a major phobia of anyone touching her ears. She had lots of ear infections when she was little and won't even let Chad or I near them. But, somehow Amanda convinced her that it was a good idea. And if Hallee does it, Hope usually follows. Hallee was first. Amanda took Hope out of the store so that she wouldn't get scared seeing Hallee. As soon as it was done, Hallee started crying and yelling, "Take them out! Take them out!" I felt so bad! Hope was next and she cried just for a second but was just fine when the girl gave her a sucker. I had to do a slide show because I couldn't decide between these pictures. They were all too cute.

State Fair Fun

We went with our family to the Utah State Fair on Saturday. We had so much fun and ate way too much food. I swear we ate at least one of everything. The girls had so much fun especially in the little farm area. They loved the animals, too. Hallee really wants a pet rabbit now.

Hallee's 5th Birthday!

We celebrated Hallee's 5th birthday on Thursday. I can't believe she is five! She has had it planned for quite a while. First, she and I went to Zupas for lunch. Later that afternoon we had her friends over for a birthday carnival. Amanda and Mary helped me with it (thanks a ton guys). It turned out to be way fun. We had a bounce house, face painting and lots of games. Later that night the family went out to Hallee's favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse. The waitress put her on the saddle while the whole place sang "Happy Birthday". I hope she had a fun day. We love you Hallee girl!
