The Pumpkin Patch

Hope and I went with Hallee on her fieldtrip to a pumpkin patch on Friday. The girls had a lot of fun picking their pumpkins and going through the corn maze. Hope thought the corn she found was pretty cool, too.

Baby Maya

Katie (my sister) had her baby two weeks ago tomorrow. She is so sweet! I couldn't be there right after she was born because she had her in Fillmore. I had to wait three whole days to finally get my hands on her. She is the cutest little thing. The girls and I got to spend several days in Scipio over UEA so we got to see her quite a bit. The cutest thing is that she sleeps with her tongue out of her mouth. Congrats Katie and Jake!

The Girlies Get Their Ears Pierced

Every year during the deer hunt, the women have their own fun while the men are hunting. Saturday, Mary, Amanda and I were out to lunch with the girls. Amanda had the idea of having Grandma take the girls to get their ears pierced. I didn't think they would because Hallee has a major phobia of anyone touching her ears. She had lots of ear infections when she was little and won't even let Chad or I near them. But, somehow Amanda convinced her that it was a good idea. And if Hallee does it, Hope usually follows. Hallee was first. Amanda took Hope out of the store so that she wouldn't get scared seeing Hallee. As soon as it was done, Hallee started crying and yelling, "Take them out! Take them out!" I felt so bad! Hope was next and she cried just for a second but was just fine when the girl gave her a sucker. I had to do a slide show because I couldn't decide between these pictures. They were all too cute.

State Fair Fun

We went with our family to the Utah State Fair on Saturday. We had so much fun and ate way too much food. I swear we ate at least one of everything. The girls had so much fun especially in the little farm area. They loved the animals, too. Hallee really wants a pet rabbit now.

Hallee's 5th Birthday!

We celebrated Hallee's 5th birthday on Thursday. I can't believe she is five! She has had it planned for quite a while. First, she and I went to Zupas for lunch. Later that afternoon we had her friends over for a birthday carnival. Amanda and Mary helped me with it (thanks a ton guys). It turned out to be way fun. We had a bounce house, face painting and lots of games. Later that night the family went out to Hallee's favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse. The waitress put her on the saddle while the whole place sang "Happy Birthday". I hope she had a fun day. We love you Hallee girl!

Back to School for Hallee

Hallee started her 3rd year of pre-school. Yep, it's the 3rd year. She just missed the deadline to start kindergarten because her birthday is September 11th. So pre-school is not so exciting for her. She likes to socialize, though. But what she really looks forward to is tumbling class. She is doing way awesome.

Hope's First Day of School

I seriously can't believe that my baby started pre-school this week. She looked so grown-up on her first day. I was quite worried about her because she doesn't really like to leave her mom. "Sunbeams" is a nightmare. But to my surprise, she did great! She didn't cry at all! I am so proud of her. She is so excited about it.

Grandpa and Grandma's 60th Wedding Anniversary

Holy cow! 60 years? That seems like forever to me. I love my grandparents so much. They have been through so much together and I have such great respect for them. We celebrated this special occasion on Saturday in Brigham City. My grandma has made wedding cakes for years, and she made the one for their anniversary. It was so sweet to see them feed each other the cake. Their children gave them new wedding bands as well. It was such a special day for everyone.

Fun at the Splash Park

We heard about a fun splash park in Herriman so Amanda and I took the girls to check it out. They had a blast although they didn't really even get wet. The highlight of the day was picking cattails.

Chaddy's Birthday

Well, Chaddy had a good birthday even though I couldn't wait until his birthday to suprise him about the baby. He had a good day, though. The girls and I took him to lunch. Later that night Stonebrakers and Cochranes threw him a pizza party. Love you, honey!

Bee's Game

We had so much fun at the Bee's game a couple of weeks ago. The girls had a blast with their cousins. Hallee was posing for lots of pictures. I got one very "special" photo of Bawden as well.

Oh...BABY!!!

Lilypie Expecting a baby Ticker
Okay, okay, the cat's out of the bag. We are expecting!!! We are very excited even though it was a big surprise. It was an even bigger surprise to Chad, since I waited a week to tell him. I found out when we were in Las Vegas. My cute cousin Heather was my shoulder to "cry" on when I found out. I wanted to wait until Chad's birthday to tell him, but I couldn't do it. I ended up telling him 3 days early. I think I did pretty good to last a week! Anyway, I wrapped up this cute present and told him that I wanted to give him an early birthday gift. He loved it! He was quite shocked, but he is really excited now. We are due in April.
